Terms of Service

Last updated 9 October 2026

Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are an agreement between Drove Group, LLC, a California limited liability company (“Drove IQ,” “we,” “us”) and the person or company that uses the Drove IQ service (“you,” “customer”). Drove IQ is a product of Drove Group, LLC. By creating an account, inviting people, taking an assessment, or paying for the service, you agree to these Terms.

If you use Drove IQ for a company, you confirm you have authority to bind that company. If you are invited by a company, these Terms still apply to your use, and your company is the customer for the workplace record.

Employment use

Assessment scores, levels and reports are for learning and development only. They are not designed, validated or intended for hiring, compensation, promotion or other employment decisions, and customers agree not to use them that way.

Drove IQ measures how people work with AI today and gives them a plan to practise. The scores, levels, composites, maps, briefs and reports are development tools. They are not a hiring test, a performance rating, a compensation instrument, or a validated selection procedure. You will not use them — and you will not let anyone at your company use them — for hiring, compensation, promotion or other employment decisions.

If you do, you do so against these Terms and against the purpose of the product. We may suspend or end the service. You are responsible for how your company uses the results.

The service

Drove IQ is a multi-tenant AI-readiness assessment. A company gets a private portal. People take the assessment through a link, prove their work inbox with a one-time code, and receive a personal plan. Leaders see participation, an aggregate picture, and — on some plans — individual scores.

We may change features as we build the product. We will not silently change what a stored score means: a change to the scored assessment is versioned, and older results stay stamped with the version that produced them. The public specification is at /method.

The public demo at /o/tour is a view-only walkthrough of seed data. It is not a customer account.

Acceptable use

You will use Drove IQ only for lawful workplace learning and development. You will not:

Customer data

You retain the rights you already have in the names, emails, roster files, answers and files you submit. You grant us a licence to host, process and display that data solely to provide and secure the service, including scoring, plans, emails and the company portal.

Each company’s data is stored with that company’s identifier. Row-level security in the database is the boundary between companies. We do not use one customer’s identifiable results to brief another.

How we handle personal information is in the Privacy Policy. If these Terms and the Privacy Policy conflict on privacy, the Privacy Policy controls.

Subscriptions and billing

Drove IQ has a free tier and a paid tier (sold as Pro). Free covers the assessment, a high-level company read, the roster, a person’s own score, and the company DNA record. Pro unlocks individual scores, department comparison, role exposure, maps, briefs, full plans and the rest of the paid features.

Intellectual property

Drove IQ, the assessment, the scoring method, the mission bank, the exam questions, the design and the software are ours (or our licensors’). These Terms do not transfer that ownership. You may use the service as provided. You may not copy the instrument, the exam bank or the product to build a competing service.

Role-exposure figures are derived from published research (including Eloundou et al. and O*NET) and are cited on /method. They are not our original measurements of your people.

AI output

Parts of the service call a language model: scoring free-text answers, personal plans, company briefs, suggested guardrails, leader messages, and on-demand role research. Output can be incomplete, inconsistent or wrong. Repeat scoring of the same prose can differ by a few points. We do not guarantee accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose, or that a plan or brief is complete.

You remain responsible for how you use any output. Do not treat a generated brief, score commentary or research finding as legal, medical, financial or HR advice.

Warranty disclaimer

The service is provided “as is” and “as available.” To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components, or that scores will meet any psychometric, regulatory or employment-testing standard. They are not designed to.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Drove Group, LLC will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, revenue, data or goodwill, arising from these Terms or the service, even if we were told they were possible.

Our total liability for all claims arising from these Terms or the service is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars if you paid nothing.

Some places do not allow these limits. In those places, our liability is limited to the maximum the law allows.

Termination

You may stop using the service at any time and cancel a paid subscription in Stripe’s customer portal. We may suspend or end access if you break these Terms, if a payment fails and retries are exhausted, or if we have to for security or legal reasons.

Ending the service does not by itself delete the company’s records. An admin can erase a person’s assessment. Deleting a company is a separate operator action and is refused while Stripe is still billing that company. See the Privacy Policy for deletion requests.

Sections that should survive — including employment use, intellectual property, AI output, warranty, liability, and governing law — survive termination.

Changes

We may update these Terms. The “last updated” date at the top will change. The current Terms will be posted at /terms. Continued use after an update is acceptance of the new Terms. If an update materially changes what you paid for, we will say so in the product or by email where we have an address.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of California, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. The courts of California will have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may seek injunctive relief in any forum to protect the service or other customers.
